According to Weather.com, Western Montana is looking at high temperatures for this Saturday and Sunday in the upper teens with overnight lows zero to just below zero.
The National Weather Service has issued a forecast indicating that the mountains will see snow from today, Thursday, October 31 through Saturday, November 2.
Most of the temperature change is expected to be focused in Western Montana, the eastern part of the state looks to continue with the above average temperatures.
This, to me, seems almost like a perfect forecast. There is snow in the forecast for all the people that recreate in the winter without the brutal cold.
