Part of his tale is no tail. But as Katie from the shelter pointed out, that's okay, because "he has the cutest little butt!"

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday here at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, sponsored by our friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Katie introduced us to the mellow, quiet and charming and tail-less Benson, a one-year old mix of light golds or yellow and white, along with large paws and a darker snout (make what you will of all that). It all adds up to one cute dog.

Benson came to the shelter with 6 other dogs from a rural area, so he hadn't interacted with people much. But since his arrival in February, he has become a way more social, outgoing snuggler. His new owners will just have to be a bit patient and let him get comfortable on his own terms. But Katie pointed out that in his three months at the shelter, his social skills have made tremendous progress.
